Description   Approach His Throne is the theme of the seventh annual Midwest Prayer Conference, sponsored by Harvest Prayer Ministries and the Church Prayer Leaders Network. Held September 25-26, this registration covers the Friday night - Saturday part of the conference. Featuring authors David Butts, Alvin VanderGriend and Jonathan Graf, Approach His Throne will encourage and challenge you toward a deeper prayer life. Online registration is now closed. You can still register as a walk-in.   Features Special Format: This year's Midwest is really two conferences in one. The official conference begins Friday at 7 pm and runs through Saturday at 4 pm. But you can also register for an all-day mini-conference on Friday. Dave Butts will be teaching on "Everyday Spiritual Warfare" and Alvin VanderGriend on "Finding Joy in Prayer." You can sign up for just Friday, just Friday night/Saturday, or both. Speakers: Dave Butts is the chairman of America's National Prayer Committee, which oversees the National Day of Prayer and the U.S. expression of tha Global Day of Prayer. He is also the president and co-founder of Harvest Prayer Ministries and the author of four books, Prayer and the End of Days, The Devil Goes to Church, Asleep in the Land of Nod, and Pray Like the King, which he co-authored with his wife, Kim. Dave has a heart for pastors and the local church. His main ministry is to come alongside the churches to help them become houses of prayer for all nations. Jon Graf is the founding editor of Pray! magazine and the president of the Church Prayer Leaders Network. For the past 14 years, he has been in the middle of encouraging, challenging and equipping churches to make prayer more foundational. He has the heart of a discipler, motivating the average believer to pray more effectively. He is the author of Praying Like Paul , The Power of Personal Prayer and the soon to be released Pray the Process. He also is the compiler of My House Shall Be a House of Prayer . Alvin VanderGriend is the cofounder of the Denominational Prayer Leaders Network and a popular speaker and author. He is the author of four books, including the 100,,000 plus seller, Love to Prayer .
